Instructabilty has developed unique Virtual Lecturer Discs (VLD) which simulate that of being in a LIVE lecture. The Virtual Lecturer Disc (VLD) comprises of a PowerPoint presentation with the following attributes:
Voice overs: clearly audible with enthusiastic tone
Content appropriate graphics: These create associations between the information being relayed and the graphic being displayed
Mnemonics: memory aids are imbedded into each PowerPoint slides thus maximising the effectiveness of the learning
The Virtual Lecturer Disc is built around the concept of subliminal learning i.e. concepts and the practical application thereof affect the subconscious mind. There are visual stimuli below the threshold for conscious perception.
